Shop Terms and Conditions

As all of the tech items sold in our shop have been donated and refurbished we do not give a warranty or except returns. Please ensure the item is what you require before you collect from us, once you have taken the item we will not accept a return for any reason.

All items are sold as seen.

We do everything in our power to ensure that items work well, and have tested them before offering them for sale. We want everything to work well for our customers, and agree that items should work as expected for a reasonable amount of time. The customer must be aware that as refurbished items we cannot guarantee how long an item will work for. If you have a problem with something you have bought from us recently please get in touch and we will endeavour to help to resolve the problem.

Code Genie Ltd do not except any liability for any losses or costs due to a faulty product bought in our refurbished tech shop.

Changing your mind

If you have paid for an item though our online shop, but have changed your mind you are entitled to a full refund. You must let us know before the item is collected, and we will refund your cash.


We do not ship items, or offer delivery normally. This may be arranged in exceptional circumstances.  If you have contacted us and arranged an item to be shipped to you, you will have to pay the cost of shipping. We will ship it within the next two working days, but cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss or delay due to the courier service that is used.

Most items in our shop must be collected at our workshop (1c Cumberland Rd, Reading). This must be arranged in advance with us, when you make a purchase we will be in touch to arrange a convenient collection time. If you fail to arrange a collection time, or don’t turn up to collect the item your money will be refunded and the item will return to the shop.
